A Guided Tour of the Galactic Adventure Zone

This “space base” where children could engage in role-playing, hands-on discovery, and physical challenges within a cohesive, otherworldly narrative. The guiding principle was to “Explore the Universe, Inspire Childhood Wonder,” seamlessly blending cosmic theming with functional play structures.

The playground is thoughtfully organized into distinct, interconnected zones, each offering a unique chapter in the interstellar journey.

🚀 The Orbital Launch Zone

The visitor experience begins with a striking 6-meter streamlined rocket replica, finished with a matte metallic coating to minimize glare and enhance durability. Emblazoned with the mission insignia “Toronto-Mars,” this impressive structure serves as an immediate focal point and a popular backdrop for photos, setting the tone for the adventure ahead.

🛸 The Starship Core & Space Station

At the heart of the installation lies a multi-level structure designed to simulate a spacecraft’s command center. Key features include:

· Mission Control Consoles: Children can interact with simulated control panels, lights, and switches, role-playing as astronauts managing a critical mission.

· Interstellar Transit Tubes: A network of winding, colorful "space pipes" functions as both crawl tunnels and enclosed slides, mimicking the feeling of moving between different sections of a massive space station.

· Photon Tunnel Slides: A signature element, these dual-helix slides are constructed from mirror-polished stainless steel. Embedded LED light strips along the edges activate with a cascading color effect as children descend, creating the sensation of traveling through a tunnel of light.

Immersive space scenes, right at your fingertips!

Encounter "astronauts" and experience the ultimate atmosphere! Stroll through the space and you'll find vivid astronaut-themed decorative paintings and fun astronaut sculptures everywhere.

👽 The Alien Xenobiology Lab

This zone is designed to intrigue and excite with its mysterious, scientific atmosphere. A large blue portal door opens into a laboratory filled with interactive and atmospheric details:

· Cosmic Rotation Discs: Two "space rotation discs" provide a fun physical challenge, helping children develop balance and coordination while simulating the sensation of zero-gravity movement.

· Specimen Containment: Suspended transparent containers feature silhouettes of 'alien life forms," while wall graphics, warning signs, and yellow-and-black hazard tape create an authentic "restricted area" ambiance.

· Immersive Environment: The entire area is bathed in a cool blue light, complemented by subtle sound effects to fully transport visitors into the scene.

⭐ The Nebula Ball Ocean & Interactive Art Galaxy

A vast ball pit, filled with blue and yellow spheres, represents a cosmic galaxy where children can enjoy free play and sensory stimulation. The area features timed "meteor showers,' where a cascade of balls is released from above, encouraging group interaction and delight.

The technological highlight of this zone is the Interactive Art Screen. This installation allows children to draw on a digital tablet. Their creations—be it a spaceship, an animal, or an abstract shape—are then scanned and instantly animated onto a large central screen, bringing their artwork to life in a dynamic and engaging way.
